Afrika is a seasoned Development Economist and a Banker with a solid experience
in the fields of Financing for Development, Project Management, Policy
Formulation and Regional Integration.
worked for 30 years with the African Development Bank (AfDB) and for 15 years,
in senior management roles including Secretary General, Director of Policy and
Resource Mobilization, Director of Operations and Director of NEPAD and
retired from the Bank in December 2009. He is a founding member and Chairman of
the Board of the University of Kigali, and currently manages the University ‘s
Center for Economic Governance and Leadership.
to his appointment on the COGEBANQUE board, he was a board member of Access Bank
Rwanda, a subsidiary of Access Bank Nigeria Plc.
Mr. Kanyandekwe is currently Chief Executive Officer at Dream House Rwanda. He also works in BACISCO as a Consultant in Audit, Accounting and Real Estate.
He held various senior management roles in Bank of Kigali including Head of Finance. Prior to this, he was Director of Administration and Finance at NAHV in Kigali, Rwanda. He also worked as an external auditor with Price Waterhouse (PwC).
He holds a degree in technical teaching from Institute Normal Provincial de Brabant (Brussels, Belgium), and diplomas in Enterprise Management, and Accounting.
Mr. Musoni is currently a director at Multi-Sectoral Technical Assistance (MTA Ltd) based in Kigali where he provides management consultancy services.
He possesses over 30 years of banking experience in commercial banking mainly from Rwanda as well as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He has served in various capacities including managing branches and supervising branch managers and regional branch managers.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law.
Mr. Makuza currently works as Managing Director of Market Shopping Center Limited in Rwanda.
Prior to his current role, he worked as a Data Analyst at Telerx. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from Wilkes University.
Mr. MAJYALIBU joined the board in 2017. He is currently the Principal Advisor to the SP Group Chairman with an overall responsibility to coordinate and monitor the various Projects of the organization.
Prior to this appointment, he was the General Manager of RMT and held the role of the Finance Director as well in the same company. He also worked in the Accounting and Budget Department in charge of Accounts Reconciliation at the National Bank of Rwanda.
He currently serves on various Boards, including the Chairperson of the Executive Committee at Rwanda Tea Association, Director at the East Africa Tea Trade Association (EATTA), and Chairman of the EATTA Finance and Administration Committee.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance) degree from the Maastricht School of Management; and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences from the National University of Rwanda.
Mr. Nsengiyumva is currently the Chief Finance Officer of SP Aviation Ltd. He is also the chairman of the board of directors of Prime.
Prior to that, he was a manager at CVL subsidiaries, namely NPD Ltd and Real Contractors Ltd. He has over ten years’ experience working in public sector institutional support projects that are externally funded by Rwanda’s Development Partners.
During his time at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, he managed portfolios that included the European Development Fund, Public Finance Management Basket and the UN funded projects.
He is a Project Management specialist and has proven team leadership skills and experience of working with diverse teams of local and international consultants, government ministries/institutions, development partners, civil society organizations and communities with respect to project planning and implementation.
He has served as a Member of Board of Directors in different companies in Rwanda that include, Horizon Group Limited, Ultimate Concept Limited (UCL) and FONERWA.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences from the National University of Rwanda; and a Master of Science in Finance (Economic Policy) from the School of Oriental and African Studies/University of London (UK).
Mr. Christian is a
dedicated and enthusiastic multilingual professional specializing in economic
planning, development issues and designing and building results-based
Monitoring & Evaluation systems. He is trained and experienced in data
analysis and forecasting with application to economic as well as development

Division Head of Economic Policies in the Rwandan Ministry of Finances and
Economic Planning, from 1996 to 1998. He was Head of Subsection of Bills
Recovery in the commercial department at Electrogaz (Rwanda) from April 1998 to
December 1999. He worked for the National Bank of Rwanda, in the department of
Monetary Policy, as Financial Analyst (Central of Balance Sheets Unit) from
August 2000 to August 2001. He joined the Ministry of Infrastructure as
Permanent Secretary from May 2013 to September 2018. He became Deputy Director
in charge of funds management at Rwanda Social Security Board, from October

Degree in Economics from the University of South Africa.
Mr. Eric worked as Auditor at Ernst & Young (Kigali Office) from July 2007 to July 2009. He was Head of Credit Department at Banque Populaire du Rwanda from July 2009 to August 2010. He joined Crystal Ventures Ltd as Investment Analyst from August 2010 to January 2013.
He was Finance Manager at NPD COTRACO Ltd from January 2013 to April 2013, then became Finance Director at INYANGE Industries Ltd from June 2013 to December 2014. He became Senior Business Analyst at Crystal Ventures Ltd from December 2014 to August 2016. He was Finance Director at ENGEN Rwanda Ltd from August 2016 to February 2018, then worked as CEO at MM&RJD company Ltd from February 2018.
